FRIDAY UPDATE

Good Morning Victory!
Here we go again!  Yesterday I said that there was not anyone in the hospital, well what a day makes!!  We have several to report on this morning.
Tim Brown is in the Hospital with very high blood pressure problems, Bradly Chambers is on the way to Children's Hospital in B'ham with unknown problems. He spent most of the night at the ER at Russell but they could not find out what was wrong and sent him to B'ham. Bradly Brown had to go home sick yesterday and is still sick today, Will Brown was out sick yesterday and is still stick today. Mark McWhorter had to go to the ER last night with very high Blood pressure problems but they did not admit him.

Just remember all these as you pray.  As far as I know we will still be singing downtown Sunday afternoon. It looks like it may be raining so keep in touch.
Brother John will be leaving for Mississippi tomorrow morning early so remember him as he travels.

SO until next time may the Lord of Host be with you!

THURSDAY UPDATE

Hello Victory!

It's me again with news from all of us at Victory. We have had a pretty good week so far. No one in the hospital and no one has passed on.  We have had some to go to the doctor and have gotten some good reports and some not so good.

The good reports first: Brother John had his annual physical last week and every thing was ok.

Brother Tommy Wilson had his physical and the blood work came back abnormal or something to that effect. They are still looking into that so keep him in your prayers.
As far as I know everyone else is about the same.

We go Sunday and sing at the opening of Christmas season. We will be singing at 3 pm in front of the Alexander City Court House.
Until next time may the grace of God be with you!

THURSDAY UPDATE

Good Morning Victory! We have finally got some much needed rain. Now we will have to deal with the cold coming in. I don't like the cold or should I say my bones don't like those cold north winds; But  I guess I have to deal with it!
Everyone, as far as I have heard is doing about the same. We must keep praying for them every day. Remember their care givers. We have a tendency to forget them.
Several things that we need to remember this week.
1. The Youth will be going to the Wilson Farm Saturday night, November 9th  for a Bonfire. They will be there from 6 pm-8 pm.
2. Sunday, November 10 we will be honoring all our Vets.  Do something nice this week for a vet you may know.
3. We will have Baptism Service Sunday night, November 10 after the Evening Service.

4. On November 17 at 3 pm the Victory Baptist Choir will be singing at the Christmas Tree Lighting program in downtown Alexander City. Please come out and support them.
5. On  November 23 at 5 pm we will fave our annual Thanksgiving Fellowship Meal. It will be a covered dish meal so bring your favorite dishes. It  will be here at the church in the church basement. Come and bring a friend.
Mark your calendar for each of these events and plan on coming.
Until next time may God keep you and bless you!

FRIDAY UP-DATE

GOOD MORNING VICTORY!

What a night we had at the TRUNK A TREAT. We had close to 300 kids come through.  Everyone seemed to have had a great time.  Most of the kids wanted to play the games more than one time. We had plenty of candy (not very much left) for all the kids. All the workers was very tired at the end of the night but very blessed. We got to see a lot of our school kids that have gone on to different things. I handed out  around 300 tracts that I had printed up.

Even Mrs Wanda Baker got to come out for a little while.   Keep her in your prayers, she looks like she is getting weaker each day.

Don't know much about anyone else right now.  Just keep Praying for those that we have on our prayer list.

DON'T FORGET TO SET YOUR CLOCK BACK SATURDAY NIGHT!

Until next time May God keep you in His loving CARE!!

WELCOME TO VICTORY BAPTIST CHURCH

You will find everything that is going on at Victory here. Take a trip through all the pictures and enjoy.
