THE VISITATION WILL BE TOMORROW NIGHT (FRIDAY) AT BASS FUNERAL HOME FROM 7-8 PM.
THE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HERE AT THE CHURCH  SATURDAY MORNING AT 11 AM.
 THE BODY WILL LIE IN STATE FROM 10:30 TIL 11
PLEASE PRAY FOR THE FAMILY IN THEIR TIME OF NEED! 

UP DATE ON BROTHER BURNS

The Service for Brother Burns has been set.
The visitation will be at Bass Funeral Home Friday night at 6-8 pm
The Funeral service will be at Victory Baptist Church Saturday Morning at 11 am. The body will lie in state from 10:30 til 11.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5

I have a sad update today. Brother Rusty Burns passed away last night. He was a faithful member of the church and came as often as his health would allow. He loved the Lord and his family and especially the church. Our prayers go out to Mrs. Dell and the family.
 I do not know any details as yet but will post them as soon as I hear.

THURSDAY UPDATE

 Sorry that it has been so long. It has been real crazy around here with the weather changing so often. 70 degrees one day and 20 the next. Have you ever seen a winter like the one we are having?
Thank God that we were blessed and missed the worst part of Winter Storm Pax. Pray for all the people that are without power tonight. Last report I heard there was close to 1/2 million that was without power.

On a brighter note our Valentine Banquet will be tomorrow night at 6 pm. Covered Dish Meal and plenty of LOVE is the menu. Come and join us for a great time.

GOOD MORNING VICTORY!
Sunday morning service was GREAT!!  We had a church full! If you was not here you missed a blessing.

CELEBRATING 36 YEARS JANUARY 19,2014

This coming Sunday we will begin our 37th year as a church.  Please come and worship with us on this special day!!

Dr. Wesley Higginbotham will be the guest preacher.

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 8th

Good Morning Victory! Boy has it been cold!! Please be careful and stay warm and don't slip and fall!  It will be warmer soon.  We can be thankful that we are not cold and covered in ice and snow like our neighbors to the north.

I trust that you all had a great Christmas. It has been a while sense I posted but things are always so busy this time of year.   God has been Good!!  We had one of the best Christmas Programs we have ever had.  It was simple but very very good.

There are a few things that we need to be aware of:

1. Sunday, January 12 is Bring a Friend to Sunday School Day here at Victory.
2. Sunday, January 12th the David Warren Family will be here at 6 pm  in concert.
3. Sunday, January 19th will be our Anniversary Sunday. We will begin 36 years.  Dr. Wesley Higginbotham will bring the morning message.
